Guided by Legacy, Grounded in Excellence

I am uniquely qualified to assist my clients through this process because I have seen the devastation that can happen if the plan is not well thought out. I spent the first twelve years of my career in probate and fiduciary litigation, helping clients in the courtroom and in mediation attempt to resolve the fights that happened after the death of a loved one. Every day, I explained complex estate planning issues to judges in simple terms. While it was stimulating, it was also heartbreaking to watch what the litigation process did to my clients and their families.

In 2019, I decided to shift my focus from the courtroom to the conference room and spend the rest of my career advising clients on their estate plans before a conflict arises. I help families avoid the issues that lead to litigation and family conflict. Like my father, I have now found my calling. My practice now focuses on getting to know my clients and their concerns and goals, advising them on planning options to accomplish their objectives, and bringing families together instead of tearing them apart.

Trusted Legal Counsel with Deep Local Roots

In 2002, I earned a Masters in Theological Studies from Duke  University and then graduated from the Levin College of Law  at the University of Florida a few years later.

Throughout my career, I’ve published numerous articles on estate planning  and administration. As an active member of my local bar and  the legal community, I have also served on several legislative  committees related to estate planning.

I am the father of five wonderful children. As an avid reader, I  enjoy books ranging from Vladimir Nabokov to Stephen King. In  my free time, I also enjoy a wide variety of movies and television  shows like Firefly, The Sopranos, and Barbie.
