From Military Service to Trusted Estate Counsel

As an Officer in the United States Army, she traveled far and wide before returning to North Carolina, her home state. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from North Carolina State University and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. During her time in law school, she was an active member of the Family Defense Clinic, the Military and Veterans Law Clinic, and the Wills for Heroes Program.

She focuses her career in trust and estate law to further her passion of working directly with people. With experience in estate planning, administration, and guardianship, she strives to guide clients through the often-overwhelming estate and trust administration process with compassion, clarity, and approachability.

Life Beyond the Practice

Outside of work, Erica enjoys exploring the mountains with her husband and two dogs and occasionally competes in dog sporting events. She also enjoys reading, crafting, and losing track of time inside an art gallery.
