Focused on Elder Law and Community-Centered Planning
James earned his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2018, where he distinguished himself in elder law studies. As a student attorney in the Elder Law Clinic, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, recognizing his outstanding academic achievement. His law school experience was further enriched by positions at both the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and a Charlotte-based trusts and estates law firm, providing him with valuable exposure to financial and estate planning matters.
Licensed to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina, James serves clients from his office at 104 N. Washington Street in Hendersonville. He demonstrates his commitment to community service through his involvement with Wills for Heroes, a program providing essential estate planning services to first responders.
James makes his home in Hendersonville with his wife Emily and their son Louis, allowing him to be deeply connected to the community he serves.
